SEAN IS THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE NORWICH MERCHANTS COACHING STAFF.  HE GREW UP PLAYING OUT HIS MINOR HOCKEY CAREER FOR THE DELHI ROCKETS. SEAN PLAYED JUNIOR HOCKEY FOR VARIOUS TEAMS INCLUDING THE NORWICH MERCHANTS AND THE SUDBURY WOLVES. SEAN STARTED HIS COACHING CAREER AS SOON AS HE WAS ABLE, COACHING FOR MANY JUNIOR HOCKEY CLUBS INCLUDING THE DELHI TRAVELLERS, SIMCOE STORM AND LANGTON THUNDERBIRDS.  ALTHOUGH TAKING A SHORT INTERMISSION TO START A FAMILY WITH HIS WIFE CHARLENE, AFTER HAVING TWO DAUGHTERS, LEAH AND KARA, SEAN COULDN'T HELP BUT HEAD BACK TO THE RINK.  RECENTLY, SEAN HAS CONSISTENTLY COACHED MINOR HOCKEY TEAMS, WHICH HE HAS LEAD TO MANY LEAGUE, TOURNAMENTS AND OMHA VICTORIES.

SEAN WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE NORWICH MERCHANTS FOR THIS OPPURTUNITY. HE HOPES HE CAN PASS ALONG HIS LOVE AND PASSION TO THESE YOUNG MEN.

MARK ENTERS HIS 43rd SEASON AS A CERTIFIED TRAINER, AND HIS 27th SEASON AS A LEVEL 3 TRAINER WITH THE
NORWICH MERCHANTS.

MARK BEGAN HIS VOLUNTEER CAREER WITH THE MISSISSAUGA HOCKEY LEAGUE WITH A MINOR ATOM BLUE TEAM, AND MOVED ON TO THE METRO TRORONTO HOCKEY LEAGUE, AND GREATER TORONTO HOCKEY LEAGUE AA / AAA TEAMS. TRAVELING OVEERSEAS TO GERMANY, ITALY, WAXHOLM SWEDEN.

THE LAST 27 SEASONS HE HAS BEEN WITH
THE NORWICH MERCHANT FAMILY, AS A TRAINER / DIRECTOR / AND WEBMASTER.  HE HAS SEEN THE HIGHEST OF HIGHS, AND THE LOWEST OF LOWS, YET IT IS ALL GOOD AS IT IS WITH THE ENTIRE NORWICH MERCHANT FAMILY.

MARK CONTINUES TO PROVIDE HIS SERVICES ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS AS HE HAS FOR THE PAST 43 YEARS.

MARK WAS HONORED FOR HIS LIFESAVING ACTIONS RECEIVING AWARDS FROM THE CANADIAN RED CROSS LIFESAVING AWARD, THE OHA 2000 TRAINER OF THE YEAR AWARD, 2000 DR. TOM PASHBY HTCP TRAINER OF THE YEAR, AND COMMENDATION FROM GOVENOR GENERAL OF CANADA.




EQUIPMENT MANAGER / ASST. TRAINER  
SETH ALLEN

SETH IS ENTERING HIS FOURTH SEASON WITH THE NORWICH MERCHANTS AS EQUIPMENT MANAGER AND THIRD SEASON AS ASSISTANT TRAINER.  HE HAS VOLUNTERED ON AND OFF WITH THE MERCHANTS SINCE 2007.  PRIOR TO JOINING THE MERCHANTS, SETH VOLUNTEERED WITH TILLSONBURG MINOR HOCKEY AS A COACH, MANAGER AND TIMEKEEPER FROM 1992 - 1997
